The Red Hot Summer Tour and Sounds By The River [ Mannum, SA ] are thrilled to announce this incredible line up of artists for a series of shows in late 2023 and Summer 2024!

The Red Hot Summer Tour is an annual series of multi-artist events that tours Australia wide including spectacular regional locations and local destinations. These iconic outdoor shows bring red hot rock for the ultimate live music experience and have become one of Australia’s most sought-after summer festivals.

Series one hosts a massive line-up including , The Living End, Birds of Tokyo, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers, and Mahalia Barnes & The Soul Mates! With some recent changes due to Jimmy Barnes health concerns.

Jimmy said, “I’m going to be working hard to get back to full strength over the next few months so I can get back on stage for you in April and join my friends from The Living End and Birds of Tokyo as well as Pete, Kasey and Mahalia & The Soul Mates on stage in the Hunter Valley, Launceston and Bendigo.”

With another spectacular announcement, Red Hot Summer Tour is bringing a second series of shows to Australia in 2024 with a mega-line-up co-headlined by Simple Minds and ICEHOUSE with Noiseworks, Daryl Braithwaite, and Bachelor Girl.

Please note: Noiseworks & Darryl Braithwaite are not appearing in WA shows.

Some changes will occur in line with Jimmy Barnes recent health concerns.

The following shows will continue, with Jon Stevens to join the line up, and there will be a Superband to play the Jimmy Barnes set led by Mahalia with special guests Ian Moss, Jon Stevens, Chris Cheney. For Mannum, David Campbell will also join the show!

  • Saturday 6 January at Kiama Showground (NSW)
  • Saturday 13 January at Mornington Racecourse (VIC)
  • Saturday 20 January at Mary Ann Reserve (SA)

Jimmy Barnes will be back to headline select, postponed events in April. Those new dates are:

  • Saturday 6 April at Roche Estate in the Hunter Valley (NSW)
  • Saturday 13 April at the Launceston Country Club (TAS)
  • Saturday, 27 April at the Bendigo Jockey Club (VIC)

  • Kiama (NSW), Mornington (VIC) & Mannum (SA) - Jon Stevens to join the line up for the first 3 events, and there will be a Superband to play the Jimmy Barnes set led by Mahalia with special guests Ian Moss, Jon Stevens, Chris Cheney. For Mannum, David Campbell will also join the show!
  • Postponed dates for Hunter Valley (NSW), Launceston (TAS) & Bendigo (VIC) - Jimmy Barnes will be back to headline select, postponed events in April.
