2018 returns to popular holiday hotspot Rottnest Island, on the Labour Day long weekend, Sunday 4 March - so there’s ample opportunity to make a weekend of it, and enjoy a leisurely day on Monday exploring the island.
Local Dad-J’s FATHER FIGURES, LA-via-Melbourne Australia rapper ALLDAY, Sassy Sydney band THE PREATURES, Fremantle local heroes SAN CISCO and rap giant ILLY will perform on Castaway’s seaside stage, backed by the pristine blue seas of Thomson Bay and a sea-scape of boats, with the seashore acting as a dancefloor.
The Castaway venue is paradise straight off a postcard. Come sundown, the whole scene is illuminated in brilliant hues of burnt orange, as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean – it’s a sight to behold.
