No parking is available on site. Patrons can use the various inner city pay-for parking stations. Limited metered parking along Alice Street. We recommend that you park at Southbank or one of the many CBD parking facilities.
We recommend you use public transport to travel to and from Riverstage. Please contact Translink on 131 230 to check routes and schedules of buses, trains, ferries and City Cat services, or visit their website at www.translink.com.au. The closest train station is at Southbank (we recommend patrons make use of the Goodwill Bridge which stretches from the Southbank precinct to the entrance to the Riverstage). Otherwise, Central Station is another option (but is about a 20-25 minute walk). The nearest City Cat terminal is at QUT and is only a short walk to the venue
A temporary box office will be set up for gate sales on the day of performance. This will be set up on the University side of the Riverstage, next to gate 1 adjacent to the Goodwill Bridge.
General admission: General admission at the Riverstage means that unless patrons are willing to sit on the ground (most of the venue is grassed areas on a gentle slope), then they will be standing. RIVERSTAGE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Provided the event is not listed as over 18s only, children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. It is recommended that children between the age of 13 and 15 years old be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If a ticketed event, every patron must hold a valid ticket. The following items cannot be brought into the Venue: Chairs, skateboards, studded fashion items, cameras with detachable lenses, video or audio equipment of any type, iPads, no bags larger than A4, no back packs, umbrellas, laser pointing devices, large flashlights & torches, fireworks of any kind, flares, full (or empty) beverage bottles, cans & containers, weapons of any kind and any other items considered harmful to others. No food or beverages are allowed to be brought into the Venue. For special dietary requirements please contact the Venue (see Venue information below). A personal safety and security search is a condition of entry. Security wanding may occur at events. Prohibited items can be deposited in the cloakroom. Illegal items will be confiscated. Patrons must not stand on bins or fences. All injuries caused and or suffered as a result are the patron's responsibility. Please note: Conditions of Entry may change from event to event.
